Jean Grey/Phoenix WIP screenshot, and Mortal Engines

Hello, I am still alive. Here's a 3D model I've been doing recently, Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix from X-Men:

I have little experience with hair, so yeah.... it's gonna take some time for me make her hair not to look like bits of folded paper.

I finished reading Mortal Engines awhile ago and it was a very good book. The only downside I can think of is the middle part - that bit just slowed down the entire story for me and it seemed like it was dragging on forever. But then a few chapters later the story picked up again (thank Heavens) and overall, I really enjoyed reading it. I'd talk more about it but I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I just want to add that I am looking forward to reading the sequels.

Nice Zongyi! she looks quite rigid but the pose probably doesn't help :P

Keep improving... I'm sure someone can crit you who actually knows about characters :P

Maybe work on evening out the distribution?

Looking good! [though Jean is one of my worst xmen females, sorry :x] Give closeup of face?
I actually really like the hair, the shape looks right and it'll look great when its alpha mapped...Her crotch looks a little 'square' but I guess that's just how the fabric stretches - far better than the cameltoe effect though!!

@ Daniel: Thanks, I can't wait to rig her when I'm done texturing XD. Hopefully she won't look so stiff then!

@ Blair: Thank you. Heh, I only like her because of her mad powers in the X-Men movies, otherwise she's a bit meh to me. WOLVERINE IS MY FAVOURITE! XD Yes I shall be posting up more screenshots of close-ups and such. I'm glad you like the hair! Right I'll make her crotch a bit more round XD.
